Garden Maintance and Transformations in Dorset

Hand to Earth Landscapes are based in Warminster and cover all of North Dorset, including Shaftesbury, Gillingham, East Stour, Motcombe, Bourton, Verwood, Cranborne and surrounding towns & villages

Hand to Earth Landscapes recently provided our expert gardening services to a young couple in Gillingham (Dorset), who had recently moved to the area.

The first order of business was to trim the hedges that framed their property. With precision and care, I shaped the hedges, creating clean lines that complemented the house's architecture. I also pruned the trees, removing dead branches and enhancing their natural form. The transformation was immediate, and the garden started to exude a well-groomed charm. Next on the agenda was revitalizing their lawn. I meticulously mowed the grass, ensuring an even height and a crisp look. I aerated and fertilized the soil, promoting healthy growth and vibrant greenery.

One of our local expert gardeners, finished the garden renovation in one day, leaving the lovely couple with a clean and attractive garden which they could enjoy for the rest of the summer.

We recevied a call from a retired couple in Shaftesbury who have lived in the property for 20 years, during which time they had maintained a beautiful garden.

Throughout this time they had cut their 12 foot tall beech hedge, which encompassed the rear of their garden. However, after a health scare they no longer felt as confident to maintain the garden where they needed to climb the ladder or use the heavy equipment by themselves.

A Hand to Earth Landscsapes local gardener came to the property to complete the hedge cutting and help with some gardening jobs. The couple were plently satisfied with the hedge cutting and the competitive prices we offer, and we look forward to assisting them throughout the future.

Recently in Shaftesbury, we were welcomed to a large garden but which needed a uplift for the summer.

This afternoon was dedicated to planting a vibrant flower bed that would serve as the garden's focal point. Following the couple's preferences for a mix of annuals and perennials, I carefully selected an array of colorful blooms, taking into consideration factors such as sun exposure and soil type. With gentle hands, I placed each plant in its designated spot, envisioning the stunning display that would unfold in the coming weeks. To make the garden truly unique to the couple, I incorporated personalized elements. I installed a charming stone pathway leading to a cozy seating area, complete with a handcrafted wooden bench and a fragrant herb garden. As a final touch, I installed soft outdoor lighting to create a warm ambiance for evening strolls and intimate gatherings.
