Wiltshire Gardeners

Our gardeners received a call to a beautiful garden situated in the nearby village of Tisbury in the stunning Wiltshire countryside.

The owner wanted to renovate the garden and had some ideas of what they wanted but weren’t too sure how to go about it. One of our friendly local gardeners set an appointment to come over to discuss the customer’s vision for their garden design and what options would work best for their budget.

One of the jobs was the garden border with a retaining stone wall which was crumbling and in disrepair, affecting the structural integrity of the wall. Our team of local expert gardeners set about removing the old and unsightly stone wall so as to install a strong and clean-looking timber wall by stacking locally-sourced treated 8x4 timbre sleepers. Our gardeners installed raised beds with a selection of shrubs and flowers to create an English garden which the residents of Tisbury can be proud of.

One of our previous satisfied customers referred Hand to Earth Landscapes to a new client to undertake a gardening job in Sutton Mandeville near the village of Fovant in Wiltshire.

The lawn was long and untidy, and was patchy in places, and so needed some lawn care to bring the garden back to life. Our gardener set about mowing the lawn using our professional Honda Pro-roller lawn mowers and removing weeds from the lawn. Next, was seeding the lawn to repair the patches using grass seed specially chosen with our our lawn care expert to suit the local clay heavy soil to ensure the lawn will grow fast and strong.

Sam, one of our local gardeners from Warminster, designed a 15m border using Corten steel edging and planted a new border with “cool” colours, like the excellent Germanium Rozanne, to complement the existing flagstone patio and paths.
